Kathleen Yorba

Artist Kathleen Yorba holds an MFA, has been twice awarded and participated at Jentel Artist Residency in Wyoming, and is exhibited and collected internationally. 

Her work considers the concept of memory through creating layers of lines, colors, and shapes. Building a history also involves excavations - subtracting is another path to creating.  In the end there is a topographical feel, a sense of place.

Yorba maintains a studio practice on the California Central Coast that includes commissions, artist workshops, mentoring, and studio visits.  Her daily practice is visible on Instagram @kathleenyorba
