Rise Up, Healdsburg!
For Gender Justice Everywhere
Join us on November 14th, at Hammerfriar Gallery, to learn about Rise Up’s work to advance gender equity and justice here in California and around the world.
At this inspiring event, we’ll hear directly from Rise Up Leader Tasha Henneman, who is responsible for her organization’s strategic policy agenda and who directs the Black Leadership Council, a statewide coalition of Californian leaders seeking reform across four policy pillars: Health, Wealth, Housing, and Education. We’ll also hear from Dr. Denise Raquel Dunning, Rise Up’s Founder and Executive Director.
By partnering with Leaders like Tasha, Rise Up works to advance gender equity and justice in education, health, and economic opportunity in the U.S. and around the world. Here in California, Rise Up Leaders are working to improve gender equity for the people in their community in areas such as sexual and reproductive health and rights, criminal justice reform, youth engagement, maternal health, economic opportunity, transgender rights, and more. Since its founding in 2009, Rise Up’s powerful network of over 800 leaders has improved the lives of 172 million people.
When: Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 6pm to 8pm
Where: Hammerfriar Gallery, 132 Mill St., Suite 101, Healdsburg, CA
