Bill Shelley

Bill Shelley is a multimedia artist creating in oil, watercolor, and works on paper. His last featured collection at the Gallery centered on the public spaces - banks, shopping malls -rendered almost obsolete by our modern society.

"Good work should feel authentic. I strive to do work that reflects how I see the world. Being able to risk failure in art is an important ingredient for success. Making art is an exciting process: Sometimes all a piece needs to get to the finish line is to subtract whatever is irrelevant, sometimes just one thing needs to be added, and sometimes it’s a matter of gathering up what you've learned and starting over."
